CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight)

CIF stands for Cost, Insurance and Freight — an Incoterm meaning the quoted price already includes getting the goods, insured, to the buyer's port (it does not include local customs duty or VAT). Imported PP resin is usually quoted CIF a Turkish port, so 'CIF Turkey' is the landed price before customs.
